Celebrating Saint Patrick's Day
The 17th of March is a
Public Holiday in Ireland. They celebrate the most recognised patron saint and the
arrival of Christianity in Ireland. We want to commemorate it too, so we have created a wall mural. Our
students have drawn some shamrocks and stuck them onto it. As shamrocks are
green and we are very concerned about the environment, we have taken advantage
of it and written "green" messages, such as "Don't litter the
countryside!" "Dispose your batteries correctly" etc...but
anyway we have included a lot of information about Saint Patrick as well.. If
you didn't have the chance to read about Saint Patrick in our mural, you can do
it in the wikipedia
